"Looking to sell or buy a home? Pickup the phone and call Sholom!"
How accurate is A Zestimate?
If you are thinking about moving and selling your current home, one of the things you definitely want to know is how much your home is actually worth.
That way you can begin to figure out how much money you are going to have in your pocket to make your next move.
The worst thing that could happen would be for you to get inaccurate information that makes you think your house is worth a lot more or a lot less than it actually is!
What many homeowners do is go online to a real estate website and get an “instant valuation” on their property. Unfortunately most of them are not aware that these computer-generated "Instant Valuations" that you can get on most real estate websites are alarmingly inaccurate often off by 5% to 10% and sometimes by as much as 20% or more.
In fact, as one example, Zillow’s Zestimates are so off-base that Zillow’s CEO, Spencer Rascoff, ended up selling his own Seattle home a whopping 40% below his company’s Zestimate valuation. That’s right. The Zestimate said $1.75M, but the actual sales price was only $1.05M.
The reason is because these valuations are computer algorithms based on public data such as tax records (which can be notoriously inaccurate), and unfiltered sales data that is often not comparable to your home at all. Plus these online “guesstimates” can’t possibly make any adjustments based on the condition, location or features of YOUR home.
So if you’re planning or thinking about your next move for your own peace of mind, please don’t trust such a big decision to an unreliable computer-generated guesstimate.
Instead let me provide YOU with a complimentary, complete market analysis on your property, so you’re not left guessing what your home is worth.
Simply submit your information right here and I will be happy to provide you with a FREE, Accurate Market Evaluation… based on current market information and the same actual sales data used by licensed appraisers. There’s no-obligation, no pressure, just put your information in the form on this page, submit it, and I’ll get to work on it for you right away.
